Battery-powered logging at sites that are far away, with readings sent to a cloud server.
Overview
A site visit to download data is slow and costly when the site is remote. A logger that stores its readings and sends them to a server lets engineers review the data without travelling.
The VW Gauge Monitor sends readings over NB-IoT to the “dot” cloud server, and keeps them in internal memory as well. The power budget on the datasheet is based on one measurement per hour.
